Short pipe lining
The short pipe lining method is used for the renovation of gravity pipelines. This method reduces the diameter of the existing pipeline. Short pipe lining is a method in which pipeline renovation is carried out from existing manholes, so no excavation work is necessary. Another advantage of the method is that the renovated pipeline can remain in operation during the renovation, and pumping is generally not required.
During renovations, 500mm long repair modules are pushed into the existing pipe from the manhole. Under certain conditions, it may be necessary to fill the gap between the old and new pipes with foam concrete.
The short pipe modules are made from high-quality PE material and are very durable. They have a ring stiffness of up to SN16. We install modules in sizes ranging from 90-560mm.
